A main organization (organization) represents a POS provider or a retailer with their own POS system, while a managed organization (managed_organization) represents a merchant’s location or a retailer’s store location.
An organization can have multiple connected managed organizations.
Examples:
- If the main organization is a POS provider, the managed organizations represent each customer’s (tax payer's) location with their VAT number and fiscal territory.
- If the main organization is, for example, a retailer with their own POS system, the managed organizations represent each store, all of them with the corresponding VAT number and fiscal territory.
Note: the first organization must be created via the fiskaly Dashboard, all further organizations and managed_organizations can be created both via the fiskaly Dashboard and the Management API endpoint createOrganization.
