In case of an audit by the Guardia di Finanza, it is important to inform the authorities that SIGN IT Lite, unlike traditional cash registers, uses the "Documento Commerciale Online" service provided by the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate), which records all receipts issued.
This link provides access to an official response ("Interpello") from the Revenue Agency confirming the validity of transmitting electronic receipts via external software that uses the "Documento Commerciale Online" functionality.
